Jersey is the most southerly island of the British Isles. Located around 100 miles from Britain and only 14 miles from the coast of France, it has a population of around 90,000.
Measuring just nine by five miles, the island is certainly not large, but it makes up for its size in its beauty. Stunning scenery and favourable climate ensures island activities centre very much on, and around, the sea. For tourists and islanders alike, Jersey is the perfect place to learn to surf, windsurf, sail and canoe – or simply relax and soak up the scenery.
